Victim in deadly Pueblo shooting identified

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Pueblo County Coroner identified the victim in a deadly shooting in Pueblo. According to the coroner's office, the victim was shot while walking on a sidewalk near 15th and Blake St.

Officers responding to the shooting found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound in the 1400 block of Baxter St.

Tuesday, the Pueblo Police Department announced the victim, identified as 36-year-old Josip Philley, had died after being taken to a nearby hospital.

An official cause of death has not been announced.

At this time, police have yet to release information on a suspect.
