Crash at Uintah and Weber sends 3 to the hospital, one driver arrested
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- We're learning new information about a two-vehicle crash Saturday that sent three people to the hospital. The driver of one of the vehicles, 36-year-old James E. Harvey, was arrested.
Harvey was found to be intoxicated and was charged with vehicular assault and other charges, said CSPD. The crash at Uintah and Weber trapped three parties a vehicle, seriously injuring one person. Two others suffered minor injuries.
The Colorado Springs Fire Department was on scene by 3:20 p.m. and asked motorists to avoid the area. The trapped parties were successfully rescued from the wreckage and taken to a local hospital soon after.
