Police investigate multiple overnight armed robberies in Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- An investigation is underway after three businesses were robbed overnight Wednesday, police said. It's not confirmed that these robberies were connected to each other.
Just after 1:15 a.m., police were dispatched to a convenience store in the 300 block of Mount View Ln. for a reported armed robbery.
When police arrived at the scene, video surveillance determined several suspects had entered the store, police said. At least one suspect was armed with a handgun.
Police said no injuries or assaults were reported during the incident.
A few hours later, police from the Sand Creek division were dispatched to another reported armed robbery of a business located at the 400 block of N. Murray Blvd.
At the scene, police said they learned that several armed suspects with handguns robbed a business and stole an unknown amount of cash and merchandise.
Police said no one was reported injured during the incident.
That same night, police from the same division were dispatched to the 2400 block of Arlington Dr. for another reported armed robbery at a different business, just after 5:15 a.m., police said.
Again, three armed suspects entered the business with handguns and stole an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise.
It's unclear if all the robberies are connected.
