CLEAR CREEK COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- Clear Creek County Public Health is offering free HIV, STI, and Hepatitis C testing at the Health and Wellness Center. It's a collaboration with the Boulder County AIDS Project (BCAP).

"Public Health is taking a collaborative approach, utilizing Binx Health and BCAP to bring patient access to testing both on-site and at home. We put convenience and quality at the heart of your care program," said Public Health Nurse Andrea Uliano.

Nearly 1.2 million people in the US have HIV, 13% don't know they have it, according to HIV.gov. Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, and Hepatitis C will be tested during the visit.

"You can come into our office for free and confidential testing, or take a kit home for anonymity. If further treatment is needed, we coordinate needs," said Uliano.

Free and confidential rapid HIV, Hepatitis C, and pregnancy testing will be available.

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16 and Wednesday, Oct. 12
