WATCH: Bear in Woodland Park chases dog in backyard Saturday

WOODLAND PARK, Colo. (KRDO)-- A woman in Woodland Park shared a video of a bear chasing her dog in their backyard.

Mandy Campbell says her dog was initially chasing the bear, but then got scared and the bear began chasing him. Campbell says her dog is okay and so is the bear.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife says if a bear comes near your home, you should make loud noises like yelling, clapping, and using a whistle. Officials stress that you should never approach a bear.
