Police activity shuts down I-25 northbound near South Academy

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO)-- The Colorado Department of Transportation reported a portion of northbound I-25 was closed due to police activity Wednesday, May 18.

At 1:02 p.m., CDOT reported police activity had shut down all northbound lanes between Exit 135 - South Academy Blvd. and U.S. 85.

By 1:10 p.m., CDOT announced the interstate had reopened to traffic.
