Investigation underway after man shot while driving on I-25 in Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- An investigation is underway after a man suffered multiple gunshot wounds in a drive-by shooting on I-25 Saturday night.

It happened just after 10:30 p.m. as the victim and his friend were driving southbound on I-25 in the left lane near the McCully Avenue exit, said Pueblo Police. That's when a suspect vehicle came up behind them and began to flash its head lights. It then pulled around them on the passenger side and fired four rounds into the car.

The passenger was shot through the car door, said police. Luckily, the driver was able to take his friend to the hospital where he's being treated for non-life threatening wounds.

Police don't have a description of the suspect -- and the only description of the suspect vehicle is that it's a dark colored car.
