Police are investigating after a dead body was found in a downtown Pueblo alley

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) — Pueblo Police are investigating after a dead body was found in the alleyway on D Street between Union and Victoria Sunday night. 

A woman saw a dead man behind a vacant building at the corner of Union Avenue and D Street and called police. Police responded to the call around 6:50 p.m.

The officers called detectives from the Crimes Against Persons Section to investigate. Police said detectives consider this incident a suspicious death.

The identity of the man who died will be released by the Pueblo County Coroner’s Office once his family has been notified.
