Police activity prompts lockout at Springs Ranch Elementary in NE Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Colorado Springs police officers are working on a case in an area just north of Springs Ranch Elementary School, and the school has been placed on lockout status as a precaution.
CSPD said officers are looking for a wanted suspect in the area of 7100 Ash Creek Heights. People are urged to avoid the area.
There is police activity taking place in the 7100 block of Ash Creek Ht. In the interest of safety, Springs Ranch Elementary is currently on lock out status. For those in the area, please shelter in place. For those outside of the vicinity, please avoid the area. @CSPDPIO
