Colorado Springs police investigating deadly shooting early Thursday

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - Police are investigating a shooting that left one woman dead in southeast Colorado Springs early Thursday.

Police said one woman was shot near Woody's Bar & Grill on South Academy Boulevard and East Pikes Peak Avenue. Initial reports came in of the shooting just after midnight.

Police said they believe the victim and the shooter knew each other. At this time, no suspects have been officially identified and no one is in custody.
