WASHINGTON (AP) — Washington Rep. Pramila Jayapal is pushing President Joe Biden to hold the line. The Washington Democrat has emerged as a top negotiator in the talks on Capitol Hill. Biden’s proposal includes expanded child care, health care, education and environmental programs.
