Police arrest man suspected of shooting Colorado officer
BRIGHTON, Colo. (AP) — A man suspected of shooting and wounding a Littleton officer several days ago has been arrested following a standoff. The officer, David Snook, remained hospitalized Saturday. The Brighton Police Department wrote in a Facebook post that they received a tip Friday that the suspect was inside a home in the area, and when officers went to the home, someone barricaded themselves inside. Authorities said officers negotiated with the man for seven hours until he was arrested without incident. Snook was shot three times when responding to a report of shots fired in Littleton on Monday.
