Water main break closes S. Academy Blvd.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- S. Academy Blvd. is closed in both directions Thursday afternoon between Pikes Peak Ave. and Airport Rd. due to a water main break.

Colorado Springs Utilities (CSU) said drivers should avoid the area and seeks alternate routes.

At this time CSU has not said what caused the break or when the road may reopen.
