Colorado Springs Police: two men arrested for burglary
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Police arrested two people in connection to an early morning burglary in West Colorado Springs.
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, officers were dispatched to a burglary in progress at 4:58 a.m. Tuesday. The reporting party told police they saw two men jumping into their neighbor's yard and then entering the garage.
Police say the suspects were seen carrying items out of the garage and getting into a silver Toyota Echo. The truck, belonging to the suspect, then headed westbound on Mount View Ln.
As an officer was driving in the area, CSPD says he spotted the suspect vehicle as it pulled into a 7-11 in the 300 block of Mount View Ln.
According to CSPD, two males and two females were detained as suspects. After an investigation, police say the two men were arrested for warrants on 2nd Degree Burglary and 1st Degree Criminal Trespass.
Police identified them as Edward Davidson Jr. and Travyond Saunders.
