Pueblo man arrested after police find suspected fentanyl, $4,700 in cash inside stolen truck
PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- Pueblo Police arrested a man after they found a handgun and suspected drugs inside a stolen truck in North Pueblo.
Wednesday, Pueblo Police found 31-year-old Andre Trujillo sleeping inside a white 2019 Ram 1500 truck in the 4800 block of N. Elizabeth St.
During the investigation, police learned the truck had been stolen out of Colorado Springs.
Inside, police say they found a stolen handgun, more than 19 grams of suspected fentanyl and about $4,700 in cash.
As a result, police arrested and charged Trujillo with First-Degree Aggravated Motor Vehicle Theft, Possession of a Weapon by Previous Offender, Special Offender, Distribution of a Controlled Substance, and theft.
