Local beer festival raises $40,000 for Westside CARES

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Feast of Saint Arnold, a local beer festival put on by the Chapel of our Saviour Episcopal Church, is donating $40,000 to local charity, Westside CARES.

The festival began in 2013 and in the last three years has donated more than $100,000 to charity. Since its inception ten years ago, the festival has now donated $270,000 to charity.

This donation is the largest Westside CARES has received this year and will fuel vital programs like rental assistance, food pantries, mail services, housing navigation, and more for more than 10,000 unique individuals in El Paso County.
