SWAT Standoff on Pueblo’s east side resolves

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- Friday afternoon, police responded to Pueblo's east side.

According to the Pueblo Police Department, officers arrived at N. Salem Ave. and E. 15th St., where two wanted suspects were located. One suspect was arrested outside the home; the other suspect, 29-year-old Jeremy Angelo Lopez, ran inside. Lopez would not exit, despite commands from SWAT officers.

At one point, the SWAT team fire tear gas inside the home. Lopez did not emerge, so members entered, to find the man hiding in a crawl space.

Lopez was wanted on multiple felonies, including domestic violence, felony contempt of court-assault, and felony escape.
