COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A car rolled over several times after crashing into the center median on South Academy around 10:30 Saturday night, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.

Police said the car was traveling south on South Academy when it struck the center median, rolled over and eventually landed blocking northbound lanes of South Academy.

For several hours after the crash traffic on northbound Academy was diverted at Bradley Road.

There were three occupants in the car and police said speed and alcohol appeared to be a factor in the crash.

All lanes of South Academy are back open at this time.
