Police: parolee in possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material already in custody

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A man is in custody on charges related to the sexual exploitation of children.

On April 23, the Colorado Springs Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force was contacted by the Colorado Department of Corrections Parole about a parolee in possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material.

Further evidence led to the issuance of an arrest warrant for David Earl Russel, 55.

According to police, Russell was already at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center on a parole hold at the time of the arrest.
