TELLER COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- Firefighters in Teller County have fully contained the Pathfinder Fire on Thursday. Residents are now allowed to return to their homes.

The Teller County Sheriff's Office issued mandatory evacuations around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday for residents on Pathfinder Rd and Pathfinder Circle due to a fire. Those orders were lifted the same day around 4:15 p.m.

Residents near the Pathfinder Rd and West Bison Creek Trl were ordered to evacuate immediately. Others homes nearby were also placed on pre-evacuation notice.

Deputy Greg Couch tweeted that the "Pathfinder Fire" is about 2 to 3 acres in size.
