Pueblo police seek man accused of assaulting women while posing as census worker

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- Pueblo police investigators are asking for the public's help in finding a man who's accused of posing as a census worker and then assaulting a woman after forcing his way into her home.

On Wednesday, police believe a man was going door to door on the 1600 block of Gaylord Ave. The man was either making sales or posing as a census worker.

Police say the unidentified male assaulted a woman at a house on Gaylord Ave. and forced his way into her home.

The male was described as Hispanic, 5’6” to 5’8” tall, with a shaved head and heavy build. He was wearing a blue patterned short sleeve shirt with a collar and dark-colored pants.
