Small grass fire breaks out along Northgate neighborhood
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Fire Department was called to a grass fire Wednesday afternoon on the north side of town.
Fire crews responded to the ground fire in the 1100 block of Middle Creek Parkway at Mary Kyer Park. CSFD described the blaze as small at 20 by 20 feet.
Crews are warning people and motorists to avoid the area and watch for emergency vehicles. Firefighters say no structures are threatened.
