Woman turns doorway into Cookie Monster for Halloween
A Pennsylvania woman has decorated her house for Halloween in a uniquely eye-catching way.
Lisa Boll turned the vines adorning her front porch into a towering blue Cookie Monster, as first reported by ABC affiliate WHTM. She spray-painted the leaves blue and used Styrofoam to make the eyes and a giant chocolate chip cookie.
Boll told WHTM that drivers will pull over with their kids to take photos with her creation.
“It was surprising how many people get a big kick out of it,” Boll said. “It’s fun for Halloween and it’s not a horror thing, so it appeals to kids under the age of 3. It’s not scary.”
She explained that she’s a big “Sesame Street” fan and wanted to honor the show this year for its 50th anniversary.
