Shield 616 films bowl game commercial in Colorado Springs

Thursday, the Shield 616 Team connected with a production company in Colorado Springs to shoot a commercial that will air on ESPN in December.

Shield 616 has been outfitting police officers and sheriff’s deputies around Colorado and the nation for several years now.

The filming is leading up to two commercials that are set to air during a Shield 616 First Responders Bowl, which will kick off on Dec. 30 on ESPN.

“Part of that bowl game is going to be the Shield 616 half-time show, and we’re going to be presenting at least 616 vests to law enforcement around the country,” said Shield 616 founder Jake Skifsted.

The commercial is said to be about the inside lives of officers and deputies and the work they put in for us.
