Man arrested for DUI in auto v. pedestrian crash Sunday
CSPD has arrested one person for DUI after an auto/pedestrian crash in the 2100 block of East Platte Avenue.
Officers are investigating twenty-six-year-old Ryan J. Olsen of Colorado Springs for vehicular assault, DUI, and leaving the scene of a traffic crash. He was arrested at approximately 3:37 a.m. Sunday and taken to El Paso County Jail.
According to police, a pedestrian victim was transported to a local hospital to be treated for serious injuries. The Major Crash Team is responding to the scene and will continue to investigate.
