Colorado Springs man picks up trash throughout city during free time
A local citizen says he’s been picking up trash throughout the city during his free time, filling up 133 bags full of trash.
Jacob Drivas, who lives in Colorado Springs, says he’s been picking up trash during the past six months.
“I came here for the Rocky Mountains, not mountains of trash,” Drivas said in a Facebook post.
Drivas also posted a picture on Facebook of his latest trash pickup near the Broadmoor area. It’s been gaining praise from other locals thanking him for cleaning the community.
He has also setup a GoFundMe account to clean local waterways.
