Sunny start, afternoon storms – 6/3/19

TODAY: Mostly sunny weather is in the forecast for this morning with scattered clouds developing by lunchtime. A few rain showers are possible between 12 and 2 pm with scattered thunderstorms after 3PM. Storms over the eastern plains between 3-5PM could become strong to severe and will produce hail and gusty winds. Highs will be in the 80s and 90s with 70s over the mountains.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and mild with lows in the 40s and 50s.

EXTENDED: The rest of the work week brings cooler highs and increased rain chances through Wednesday. Isolated to scattered storms are likely Thursday through Sunday.
