2 Sex offenders escape from juvenile treatment facility in Colorado
Police are searching for two inmates who escaped from the Lookout Mountain Youth Services Center Monday morning.
A guard at the facility last saw the two men between 12 – 1 a.m. when he let them go to the bathroom. A Golden police officer did a routine check at 2:21 a.m. and did not see anything unusual.
When the officer did another routine check at 5:20 a.m., the officer saw a broken window, a dumpster on its side and sheets hanging out the window on the second floor.
The two inmates are described as:
Javier Madera, 19-years-old, Hispanic male, 5’10”, 147 lbs, he has brown hair and brown eyes. He has a skull tattoo on his right forearm.
Police report that Madera is a sex offender and has gang affiliations. His last known address was in Commerce City.
Emilio Dominguez, 17-years-old, Hispanic male, 5’9″, 182 lbs, he has black hair and brown eyes. He has the word “King” tattoed on his right hand. He also has a tattoo of roses and his last name “Dominguez” on his right arm.
Police report that Dominguez is a violent sex offender with gang affiliations and is also charged with witness victim intimidation. Both of his parents live in Denver.
If you see either of the men or have any information, you are asked to call 911 immediately. Do not approach them.
