Mobile chefs compete in Colorado Springs Food Truck Cook-Off

It promises double the food trucks, but do you have double the stomach capacity for the 4th annual Food Truck Cook-Off Sunday in Colorado Springs?

More than 30 food trucks from the Colorado Springs area set up shop at the Broadmoor World Arena from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday to serve up specialty dishes for the competition.

The offerings include traditional food truck fare like pulled pork sliders and chili dogs from Wild Goose Catering and BBQ and Westside Hot Dogs and More; but there are quite a few unique options on the list as well, including Korean bulgogi steak tacos from Black Forest Chew Chew, Cuban Lechon bowls from Lucy I’m Home, and curry chicken salad sandwiches from The Hot Box. ( Click HERE a full list of options.)

You can buy tickets to try out all of the options, and then vote for your favorite. The winners will be announced near the end of the event.

The event is part of the Pikes Peak Region Small Business Week. Click HERE for ticket information.
