Foggy start, stormy afternoon – 5/1/19

TODAY: Patchy dense fog will be seen around the area this morning before it lifts around 9-10AM today. We make way for a partly cloudy sky this afternoon along with highs in the 50s and 60s. A few showers and storms develop in the Pikes Peak Region between 1-2PM and push eastward. There is a small chance that a few of these storms become strong, but clouds should limit anything widespread.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy with a few showers. Temperatures cool to the 30s and 40s again.

EXTENDED: A couple more storms are likely for Thursday afternoon before we dry out and warm up even more on Friday. Saturday could bring a few isolated showers and storms before lots of sun and 70s and 80s arrive on Sunday.
