Mild Weekend Ahead 2-1-2019

TONIGHT: Mostly clear to partly cloudy with temperatures falling into the mid and upper 20. Mountain cities should feel the low 20s tonight.

EXTENDED: Dry and above average temperatures stay in the forecast through the weekend. Highs on Saturday and Sunday in the 50’s and 60’s under partly to mostly sunny skies. Winds increase on Sunday as our next systems moves across the Continental Divide. Snow will stay over the central mountains on Sunday with gusty, dry conditions up and down the front range. Minor accumulations expected in Salida and Alamosa, but everyone else will be feeling like spring. A wind alert is out for Sunday afternoon, but that will be your only weather issue. We stay cool and dry for Monday and Tuesday, with cold and snow moving in by Wednesday and possibly lingering into Thursday.
