Man tries to lure kids into truck in southwest Colorado Springs
Colorado Springs police are on the lookout for a man who reportedly tried to lure three children into his truck Friday afternoon.
Police say the three kids — aged eight, 10 and 12 — were walking home from school near Parkview Blvd and Sirius Drive (MAP) when the man pulled up in a white pickup truck.
The man told the kids he knew their parents and asked if they needed a ride home, but they walked away and called police, according to a report. The truck then drove by a second time before the kids ran home.
A full description of the truck wasn’t given, and the children described the suspect as a white man with a beard and tattoos.
