Florida man uses knife named ‘kindness’ to cut neighbor

Police say a 30-year-old man in Florida decided to name his knife ‘kindness’ and then used the knife to attack a neighbor.

The attack came after neighbors heard Bryan Stewart specifically say that he was going to “kill ’em with kindness.”

According to the Pensacola News Journal , neighbors in Milton were concerned about people inside Stewart’s house after hearing yelling and banging from inside, along with the aforementioned phrase.

Two neighbors went over to Stewart’s house to tell him to keep quiet, and that’s when Stewart came out of the house with a knife raised in an upward motion.

Written on the side of the knife was the word “kindness.”

One of the neighbors stepped in front of the other to block Stewart’s attack, and he was cut in the hand.

Stewart was arrested after being stunned with a Taser. Police said his breath smelled of alcohol and he kicked and banged his head inside the car.

Despite the reference to the phrase, Stewart was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without the intent to kill, and aggravated battery.
