Police: Uber driver fatally shoots passenger on Denver interstate
Update: Police have arrested Michael Hancock, 29, for first-degree murder in the killing of a passenger on Interstate 25.
The victim was identified by the Denver Medical Examiner’s Office as 45-year-old Hyun Kim.

Authorities say an Uber driver has fatally shot a passenger on an interstate in Denver.
Denver police department spokesman Sonny Jackson says preliminary information points to a conflict between the driver and passenger. He says shots were fired by the driver on Interstate 25 shortly before 3 a.m Friday. According to emergency dispatch communications, the driver called 911 to report the shooting.
The driver and victim were transported to hospitals. Jackson says the victim was pronounced dead, and the driver has been treated and released. The identities of the passenger and driver have not been released.
ABC 7 reports, the driver is being interviewed at the police department headquarters.
Uber said it is working with police on the investigation.
Police are working to confirm whether the driver was working and whether the passenger was a paying customer at the time of the shooting.
The southbound lanes of I-25 at University closed Friday morning while police investigated the shooting.
