Warmer with a few storms – 05/21/18
Today: We’re expecting noticeably warmer weather today! Highs will reach the 70s and 80s under partly sunny skies. It should feel pleasant if you’re stepping outdoors today! However, be prepared for a few scattered storms this afternoon. We’re not necessarily anticipating severe storms, but there could be some small hail, gusty winds and pockets of heavy rain with storms that develop. Pack the umbrella and be prepared to dodge those thunderstorms this afternoon!
Tonight: Storms lose steam overnight. Only isolated showers are possible into early tomorrow morning. Lows drop to the 40s and 50s under mostly cloudy skies.
Extended: Temperatures continue to warm-up throughout your seven day forecast! Tomorrow, we also have a slight chance for a few storms. It looks to be a very similar situation like what we’ll see today. It will be a bit gusty on Tuesday, possibly worthy of a wind alert level one. We’ll be drier Wednesday and Thursday, but there could be times of slightly elevated fire danger. This upcoming weekend with some easterly winds, our moisture increases. We have a slight chance for isolated storms this weekend.
