Multiple people injured after crash in Penrose
Several people were taken to the hospital and one had to be taken by helicopter after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 115 in Penrose.
The crash happened around 2 p.m. and the road had to be blocked near Broadway. Traffic was diverted away from the area.
Details about the crash weren’t given, but Colorado State Patrol says it’s under investigation.
One person was flown to Penrose-St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs and another was taken to St. Thomas Moore Hospital.
