Showers and storms for Sunday evening – 5/20/18
TONIGHT: We will see showers and storms moving from west to east across Southern Colorado this evening. Coverage becomes far less after midnight and will mainly be contained to the Eastern Plains. Lows cool to the 40s in the lower elevations and 30s in our mountain cities.
EXTENDED: Tomorrow brings a mainly dry start and I think we finally see some sunshine around the area. Afternoon highs warm into the 70s and 80s in the lower elevations, with 60s to near 70 in the mountains. Most of the day will be dry and then afternoon showers and storms fire up. Severe weather is not expected but you will definitely need your umbrella. An isolated shower or storm is possible on Tuesday with dry skies moving in by Wednesday. Highs will be back into the 80s and 90s by Thursday and Friday.
