Breezy Tonight 3-1-18

TONIGHT: A pleasant yet slightly breezy evening will continue. Skies are mostly clear overnight with lows dropping to the 20s. It will remain breezy mainly over the Southeastern Plains overnight.

TOMORROW: A nice day Friday with more sunshine and warmer temps. It will become breezy for the afternoon and evening with wind gusts around 30 mph in spots. Highs are in the 50s and 60s with a few 70s in the Southeastern Plains. A Fire Weather Watch has been posted for the Raton Mesa and Eastern Plains.

EXTENDED: Periods of strong winds will continue through early Sunday bringing with it periods of high fire danger. Highs on Saturday are still warm, in the 50s and 60s to near 70. Cooler temperatures arrive on Sunday along with very strong winds for the afternoon and evening. Some of these high winds have the potential to be damaging. Temps cool with a cold front that may bring a few snow showers to the area in to early Monday.
