1 dead in rollover crash at Platte and Powers in Colorado Springs
The rollover crash at Platte and Powers late Thursday night claimed one life.
According to Colorado Springs police, a vehicle was traveling eastbound on Platte Avenue at around 11:46 p.m. and was attempting to turn onto northbound Powers Boulevard when it lost control and ran off the left side of the road and rolled.
This caused the driver to be ejected from the vehicle. He/she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Speed is considered a factor in this crash. This investigation is continuing.
This is the third traffic fatality in Colorado Springs for 2018.
