DIA reopened
Denver International Airport reopened Wednesday after the blizzard. It was closed until 7:00 p.m.
This is the third time in the airport’s history that it has closed because of blizzard conditions.
Pena Boulevard was impassable for much of the day, but has reopened.
Hundreds of flights have been cancelled and additional delays and cancellations are possible. The cancellations include flights from Denver to Colorado Springs.
Denver International Airport is under a blizzard warning today. The airport says it is expecting 6 to 10 inches of snow and wind gusts of up to 45 mph.
