Man shot during home invasion in critical condition

A man is in critical condition after he was shot early Wednesday (6/17/15) morning in Pueblo.

Pueblo Police say, a 21-year-old man was shot multiple times around 1:45 a.m. in the 1200 block of Amarillo Avenue.

Witnesses reported that a group of three to four men possibly broke into the home and shot the victim before running away.

The victim was rushed to the hospital and immediately taken into surgery. He was in critical condition.

Police believe the incident may be gang and/or drug related.
