Firefighters save homes in Rush
Firefighters were able to save two mobile homes threatened by a garage fire Sunday morning.
The fire started at about 11:30 Sunday in the 7900 block of Davenport Road in Rush.
Tri-County Fire officials said they arrived on scene to find a detached garaged fully engulfed in flames. Officials said two nearby mobile homes were threatened.
The garage was destroyed along with a vehicle inside the garage, but Tri-county firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading.
Tri-County Fire officials said one resident was treated for minor injuries.
Officials said the fire is still under investigation.
