COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo (KRDO)--

Lots of moisture is flying up from the Southwest over New Mexico and Colorado, bringing heavy rains to parts of the state. We normally don't get this kind of moisture so early in the summer, but we'll take it.

Expect rain and thunder for the overnight hours in Southern Colorado, with lows in the 50s. Rain will continue for most of Sunday, and temperatures will struggle to reach the mid 50s. Showers and thunderstorms are possible on Monday, and then drier air returns to the region.

Rain and snow showers are likely along the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, and that may slow the races down a bit.
