I wish I could express how happy I am to call the Springs home.

As the morning traffic anchor and a multimedia journalist, I'm joining the KRDO news team from Texas, where I've worked as a producer for Fox 4 in Dallas, a general assignment reporter in Beaumont, a producer for the CW39 in Houston, and as an assignment desk intern for ABC13 in Houston.

Prior to joining the news industry, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism and Public Relations from Stephen F. Austin State University (axe 'em!). There I worked as an anchor and multimedia journalist for the university's bi-weekly newscast, a radio host for KSAU, East Texas' only alternative-rock station, and launched SFASU's chapter of the number one media brand for college women, Her Campus.

Outside of work, I love socializing and staying active by running, hiking, and - my favorite - practicing hot yoga. I also can't wait to learn how to snowboard. When I'm not outside, I love to read, watch sports (go Mavs!), and play my piano. Here's to hoping live music returns soon!

I believe journalism is important - now, more than ever. I won't take this platform for granted, and am eager to tell your story. Please send your news tips and story ideas to You can also follow me on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram at @natalieontv.
