Anchors-reporters

Natalie Haddad

I wish I could express how happy I am to call the Springs home.

As the morning traffic anchor and a multimedia journalist, I'm joining the KRDO news team from Texas, where I've worked as a producer for Fox 4 in Dallas, a general assignment reporter in Beaumont, a producer for the CW39 in Houston, and as an assignment desk intern for ABC13 in Houston.

Prior to joining the news industry, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism and Public Relations from Stephen F. Austin State University (axe 'em!). There I worked as an anchor and multimedia journalist for the university's bi-weekly newscast, a radio host for KSAU, East Texas' only alternative-rock station, and launched SFASU's chapter of the number one media brand for college women, Her Campus.

Outside of work, I love socializing and staying active by running, hiking, and - my favorite - practicing hot yoga. I also can't wait to learn how to snowboard. When I'm not outside, I love to read, watch sports (go Mavs!), and play my piano. Here's to hoping live music returns soon!

I believe journalism is important - now, more than ever. I won't take this platform for granted, and am eager to tell your story. Please send your news tips and story ideas to natalie.haddad@krdo.com. You can also follow me on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram at @natalieontv.
