I am originally from Odessa, Washington, a town that consisted of only 950 people. Ready to move onto something bigger, I attended Washington State University, where I eventually graduated from the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication.
While at WSU I worked on Pullman's only nightly newscast Murrow News 8 and it's student-run program Cable 8.
After Graduation, I accepted a job in Bozeman, Montana. In Bozeman, I spent two years reporting the news for ABCFox Montana and Wake Up Montana. While in Montana I covered everything from elections to rodeos.
Bozeman is pretty similar to Colorado Springs, so I am more than prepared for the snow. Along with Montana, I have also spent some time in California interning at 103.3 The Vibe in Ventura. I absolutely love sports, movies and spending time with my family, friends, and my wife!
I am looking forward to my time in Colorado Springs and am excited for this new adventure in my life. I'm new to Colorado so if anyone has any recommendations on places to eat, hike, or travel to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also contact me with any potential story ideas and you can contact me on Twitter and Facebook as well.
