I'm the assignment manager for KRDO NewsChannel 13, and a proud third-generation Colorado Springs native.
I started my career in news as a weekend board-operator at KRDO NewsRadio, then moved up the ranks producing. My career then took me to the beautiful Kenai Peninsula of Alaska as a Reporter and later News Director for a group of five-radio stations. During that time I lead the team in modernizing that news operation and was recognized by the Alaska Broadcasting Association for breaking news coverage and news programming. I also worked briefly as a News Director in Northeast Nebraska where I was also recognized the Nebraska Broadcasting Associations for breaking news coverage. I was lucky to move home and return to KRDO first as an Afternoon News Anchor on KRDO NewsRadio before taking the role of Assignment Manager for NewsChannel 13. When I’m not at work, you can find me in my back yard bbq-ing with my collection of smokers and enjoying time with my wife Jessica and daughter Fallon.
