Andrew Rogers

I'm the Program Director and co-host of KRDO Morning News on for KRDO NewsRadio 105.5 FM, 1240 AM and 92.5 FM, a proud third-generation Colorado Springs native (go Rampart!)
As a kid, I’ve always had a fascination with radio and was lucky to start my career in the news and radio during college as a weekend board operator here at KRDO NewsRadio, then moved up the ranks producing. My career then took me to the beautiful Kenai Peninsula of Alaska as a Reporter and later News Director for a group of five-radio stations. During that time I lead the team in modernizing that news operation and was recognized by the Alaska Broadcasting Association for breaking news coverage and news programming.
After moving back south, I worked as a News Director in Northeast Nebraska where I was also recognized the Nebraska Broadcasting Association for breaking news coverage.
I was lucky to move home and return to KRDO first as an Afternoon News Anchor on KRDO NewsRadio before taking the role of Assignment Manager for NewsChannel 13 where in my four years in the TV newsroom, I was played part in the team winning back-to-back Edward R. Murrow awards for overall excellence. I am thrilled to have my career move back to the radio side and lead the team at KRDO NewsRadio.
When I’m not at work, you can find me in my back yard bbq-ing with my collection of smokers, and enjoying time with my wife Jessica, daughter Fallon, and son Anderson.
