Police investigate threats at Walmart stores in Fountain and Colorado Springs
A large police presence is responding to the Walmart at 6310 U.S. Highway 85 87. Reports say police are investigating an “alleged explosive device.”
Fountain Police say an employee found what they believe to be an explosive device.
Customers were evacuated from the store just after 6:00 p.m. People are being asked to avoid the area.
The explosives team is on scene investigating. No reports yet of what was found. No one was injured during this incident.

This is the second report of an investigation at a Walmart being investigated for a threat on Saturday.
Colorado Springs Police confirmed on Saturday afternoon that they were investigating a “possible bomb threat” at the Walmart on East Platte Avenue near Circle Drive.
Police say there was a called made about the threat.
On Saturday night, Colorado Springs Police said they did not find anything inside that Walmart, and have since cleared the scene.
