KRDO 2022 Voter Guide: David Torres

David Torres, a Democrat, is running for office to represent Colorado’s Fifth Congressional District. Originally from Puerto Rico, Torres grew up in Colorado Springs and eventually joined the United State Air Force Reserves and was stationed at Peterson Air Force Base. 

After serving, he began working in the healthcare administration field. Eventually, he returned to college at 39 to finish his degree. According to his campaign website, that’s when he decided to run for office.
